What Is a Junior Product Engineer?

A simple introduction to early engineering thinking through building, observing, testing, and improving.

A Junior Product Engineer is a young learner who practices the early habits of making useful things: noticing a problem, sketching a plan, building a first version, testing it, and improving it.

At Level 1, this track stays introductory. The focus is observation, measuring, drawing, building, testing, narrating, and keeping simple project records.

Tools may include blocks, cardboard, paper, measuring tools, drawing tools, Onshape, 3D printing, Cricut projects, and project notebooks.
